jenny minns: wedding director

Jenny began her career working inside the Creative Team of
Donna Karan in Manhattan, New York. Immersed in style and
design, she became inspired by a love of textures and colors.
A jump of faith across the country led her to her San Diego
home for the past nine years. From coordinating VIP events
at La Costa Resort & Spa to executing international workshops
and tradeshows, she has nine years of event coordination
experience in San Diego.
luxe: the beginning
While travelling through India co-managing a workshop circuit
Jenny sparked a successful working relationship with Cara.
It was there that Jenny and Cara first began to conceptualize
Luxe Events. A few months and many late nights later, Luxe
Events was born. Jenny and Cara’s event coordinating
experiences made teaming up to create Luxe Events a ‘natural’.
While they have executed many corporate events, their true love is
planning and coordinating weddings. Luxe has focused almost
entirely on weddings over the last few years, establishing itself
as a premier boutique wedding agency in Southern California.

Cara has brought her passion for planning from the Midwest to Southern California.
With a diverse background in behind-the-scenes event coordination from a vendor perspective,
she has found an easy transition to wedding planning with Luxe.
